Being a volunteer at the OSPCA is so rewarding. If you've thought about signing up, please don't hesitate any longer -- the shelter and the animals need your help. If you live in or near York Region (includes Aurora, Newmarket, Markham, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, Vaughn, Richmond Hill, King, Stouffville) and are interested in finding out more, check this out.
Now on to the good stuff (remember, you can enlarge the photos by clicking on them):
Goldie, a gorgeous, spayed two-year-old with a very sweet nature, just arrived in the adoption area. In fact, she was one of the cats whose cage I've cleaned for the past couple of months. Goldie requires a special diet because of a sensitive tummy. ADOPTED in just a few days.
Two-year-old Vanna is ready for adoption. She's affectionate, playful, and beautiful to boot. Although she presently shares space with other cats, she'd really like to be the only pet in your home. MOVED TO CAMBRIDGE SHELTER
Ted, a neutered male, is not yet two years old. He's an active boy who gets along well with other cats. MOVED TO CAMBRIDGE SHELTER
The centre (Mohill) is located at 16586 Woodbine Avenue, just south of Mulock/Vivian Sideroad. Their adoption hours are:
Monday to Wednesday & Saturday:
12 - 6 p.m.
Thursday & Friday: 12 - 7 p.m.
Sunday: 12 - 5 p.m.
For more information on these and the many other pets available, go to Petfinder.com or the OSPCA York Region Website.
